Application Deadline: October 15, 2010

Artists are invited to apply to perform or present their work in Tirgan Festival 2011 in Toronto, Canada. The theme of the festival is Eternity or “Jaavedaanegi” in Persian.

In order to apply kindly send us an email with:

1) the subject indicating the discipline you wish to be apply for such as Music, Visual Arts, Theatre, Film, Dance, Literature, or Children Activities.

2) You should also include a profile conveying:

i) name, country of residence, and contact information (email and phone)
ii) your related training/education and work experience
iii) list of selected performances/presentations with dates and locations
iv) a few samples (not exceeding five in every field) that can be accessed through links, websites, or attachment (video clips are recommended)
v) number of artists and names of instruments
vi) a summary of proposed work to be presented (in case of literature and performing arts)
vii) possible references (maximum three)
Only submissions following these criteria will be sent to the relevant selection committee. Decisions are made based on qualification, degree of relevance to the festival theme, venue and technical requirements, and budgetary approval.
